Important Notice Regarding SAT and ACT Scheduling

HARID has established the following approved dates for students who wish to take the ACT or SAT:

  • ACT: October 22, 2016 (Registration deadline: September 16) & February 11, 2017 (Registration deadline: January 13)
  • SAT: November 5, 2016 (Registration deadline: October 7) & March 11, 2017 (Registration deadline: February 10)

In order to avoid disruption of HARID’s class and rehearsal schedule, students are discouraged from registering for the SAT or ACT on dates other than those listed above.

Holiday Travel Scheduling and Airport Transportation

Please be reminded that students are required to attend all scheduled classes. Holiday travel must be scheduled accordingly. Because of the importance of each student’s participation in all classes and rehearsals, unexcused absences will be recorded for classes and rehearsals missed due to early departures or late returns, except under extraordinary circumstances and with the prior approval of the Director.

Within the constraints of vehicle and driver availability, HARID will provide complimentary transportation to and from Palm Beach International Airport and Fort Lauderdale International Airport (and local bus and train depots) for students whose departures and arrivals fall within the times indicated in the school calendar.

HARID will not be responsible for arranging or providing transportation for students whose departures or arrivals fall outside the times indicated in the school calendar, except under extraordinary circumstances. In addition, HARID will not be responsible for arranging or providing transportation for students whose Travel Information Forms are not completed and returned to the Residence and Student Services Manager before the requested deadline. (These forms are forwarded to parents well in advance of holidays.) Parents may obtain information about local taxi and limousine services by contacting the Residence and Student Services Manager at 561-995-0151.

Upon request, and within the constraints of vehicle and driver availability, airport transportation may be provided by HARID at other times during the year as follows:

  • Palm Beach and Fort Lauderdale International Airports: $40.00 each way
  • Miami International Airport (international students only): $60.00 each way

Transportation to and from Summer School and Company Auditions

Upon request, and within the constraints of vehicle and driver availability, HARID will provide transportation to and from summer school and company auditions as follows:

  • West Palm Beach and Ft. Lauderdale locations: $10/student
  • Miami locations: $20/student

(These fees do not include the audition fees charged by the school or company conducting the audition.)
